I fell in love with handmade rugs a
number of years ago and this is what compelled me to
enter this business. As a dealer and collector,
my biggest thrill is
finding a rug for you that makes your heart
sing!
Many of the styles and designs in my Oriental rug
collection are traditional and have been around
for centuries. I also have a few contemporary
Persian Tribal rugs (Gabbehs) in addition to
antique carpets from time to time. My
criteria for selecting rugs is based on beauty,
quality and value, all important factors when
considering an
Oriental Rug Purchase.
I have an excellent understanding of the types of
rugs that people in Sonoma County, Marin
County and the entire San Francisco Bay
Area are seeking and many satisfied clients
since the inception of my business in 1998.
With the creation of my web site in
the last few years, I now have a number of happy
clients as far away as Atlanta, New York City, Rhode
Island, Virginia, Los Angeles, San Diego, Portland,

My gallery, Paradise Oriental Rugs, Inc., offers beautiful, quality handmade Oriental rugs from Iran (Persian tribal rugs), Afghanistan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and more. Woven with hand-spun wool and vegetable dyes, a sampling of the rugs offered are: Bijar, Heriz, Turkoman, Gabbeh, Qashqai, Bakhtiari, Khan Mohomadi, Khamseh, Aryana, Kazak, Ersari Turkoman and a few select kilims. I also have an excellent selection of hand woven runners, trappings and saddle bags.

I also have over 50 rug videos on my You Tube channel and can easily do a short video of any rug under consideration if you are out of state and would like to see more details.
Convenient to all parts of the Bay Area, Sebastopol is 10 minutes west of Santa Rosa in Sonoma County. Bordering Marin County on the south and Napa County on the east we are just an hour north of San Francisco in what is often referred to as the North Bay.
Sebastopol is a popular vacation and shopping destination in the Napa-Sonoma Wine Country and offers boutique galleries, bookstores, spas and wonderful restaurants. Located just a short drive to the breathtaking California coast, Armstrong Woods, Bodega Bay Harbor and numerous wineries, Sebastopol is home to the famous Luther Burbank Gold Ridge Farm where the renowned horticulturist carried out many of his plant experiments. There is definitely something here for everyone.
